(2006/2007/2010)

Program Notes: Scored for Violin, Bb Clarinet, Cello & Piano, this petite quartet is lively and flowing in the manner of an impromptu gathering of friends, each riffing in a seemingly improvisatory style on a theme. After a relaxed adagio of a blues-infused call and response among the players, the opening theme returns in an even more joyous re-gathering. After a dramatic piano solo, all instruments join together for a resounding E-Flat finale.
